About Keepers Challenge

My Brother’s Keeper Challenge: This section presents an overview of President Obama’s challenge to the nation, and a review of the six desired goals for MBK, and our City’s desire to participate in the MBK challenge, for our boys as well as for our girls. This section also includes a profile of East Palo Alto children and youth, highlighting the improvements made in recent years as well as the remaining challenges. Next, we discuss the fact that EPA-MBK builds upon the good work that has been done already in our City to support our children’s success. We then present the three goals that have been selected by East Palo Alto, and the planning process by which those goals were selected.
